Edinburgh

Flyglobespan offers daily flights between Girona Airport and Edinburgh, Scotland´s historic capital city. Flights to Girona leave Edinburgh at 4.30pm every day, and flights to Edinburgh leave Girona at 1.35pm, taking less than 3 hours. Flyglobespan´s prices are fairly reasonable, but be sure to book far in advance to make the most of their good offers.

Positives

Flyglobespan is a budget airline, so it offers flights at reasonable prices. They charge for checked in luggage but you have a limit of up to 20kg. Edinburgh Airport runs a reliable bus service between the city centre and the terminal building. They leave every 10 minutes and the journey takes 25 minutes. You can buy a ticket for just 5 pounds open return. The flights are at good times so finding trainsport to your final destination shouldn´t be a problem. There are night buses available every half hour if your flight is severely delayed. Edinburgh Airport has a wide range of eating and shopping services and the customs service is very efficient.

Negatives

Flyglobespan charges for the luggage you check in.
