Vic

Vic is a charming medium-sized town located just 50 km from the airport. You can get there by taxi or bus by the new road, built just 3 years ago.  

Vic is known as Cuidad de los Santos (City of the Saints) for its strong religious traditions. It has some beautiful architecture, with many Roman and Gothic buildings. The Roman ruins of a temple built in the 2nd century BC can be found right in the town centre. The cathedral has been built in Roman and Gothic styles. The city is also well known for its bustling markets, which has been held every Tuesday and Saturday in the picturesque Plaza Mayor (Main Square) since the 18th century.

Just 14km away is the Parador de Vic-Sau, a Catalonian farmhouse situated in one of the most beautiful landscapes in Catalonia.
